Along
Trillium Trail Series
|
From
the planes of Africa, to the jungles of Central America, Marc
Postlewaite has traveled the globe to find a better
understanding
of nature. Marc tries to capture his love of the Appalachian Mountains
in every painting, and the depth of its greens in the lush foliage,
but he admits "it's easier said than done."
From a Harvard education, to a newspaper publisher, to CEO of a
computer chip company, Marc has lived a diverse life; but after
retiring in
1998
he decided
to
move
back to his childhood home of Gatlinburg. After viewing the art gallery,
we believe that you will truly see why they call Marc the "Nature's
Painter." |
Take a moment to look at Marc's newest paintings,
a six painting series called "Along Trillium Trail." A collection
of paintings from scenes along the Trillium Gap Trail in the Great
Smoky Mountians.
As
with all of the paintings in the online gallery, you can see
each in person at the gallery, located in the Arts and
Crafts Community of Gatlinburg. See the "Contact
Us" section for directions
to the gallery. |
